We’re seeking a board member who is not only experienced at the strategic level, but also actively engaged in the US SaaS and retail ecosystem. You’ll work closely with our executive team to refine our US market entry strategy, support customer acquisition and sales development, and connect us with potential partners and clients through your industry network. This is a hands-on advisory role: we’re looking for someone who’s “on the job” — willing to actively contribute time, insights, and commercial expertise to help us scale our next-generation price optimization software among US online retailers.

Job Responsibility:

  • 4 Board meetings per year with approx. 1h preparation and 4h digital meeting time
  • 12 monthly sales insight sessions per year with a duration of 1h per meeting for the 7Learnings US sales team

  • Work closely with the executive team to refine US market entry strategy, support customer acquisition and sales development, and connect with potential partners and clients through industry network

Requirements:

  • Based in the United States East Coast and currently serving in a Sales leadership role at a B2B SaaS company
  • Your current role focuses on serving online retail clients
  • Deep understanding of the US retail tech landscape, including key trends, buying processes, and decision makers
  • Track record of success in scaling SaaS solutions in the US market, ideally including experience with international (especially European) companies expanding stateside
  • Strong strategic experience in go-to-market, business development, enterprise sales, or partnerships
  • Well-connected in the US retail and tech industries, with the ability to open doors and make impactful introductions
  • Prior board, advisory, or C-level experience in high-growth B2B SaaS or retail tech companies is a strong plus
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and results-driven—ready to actively support 7Learnings' growth journey in the US

Nice to have:

Familiarity with AI/ML technologies applied to pricing, forecasting, or retail optimization is a plus

What we offer:
  • D&O Insurance
  • Influential role in shaping the US market entry strategy of a leading AI-driven pricing solution provider
  • Direct collaboration with the founding team and executive leadership
  • High-impact position with visibility into strategic decisions and international expansion efforts
  • Opportunity to shape product-market fit for a new geography and influence key commercial milestones
  • Flexibility in engagement, with expected quarterly board meetings and ad-hoc strategic input as needed
  • Travel and expenses covered for any in-person board meetings or key company events (as applicable)
