Job Description

Our client, one of the UK's largest independently employee-owned BMS companies, are looking for an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer to join its vibrant team in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Job Responsibility

  • Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems
  • Produce concise reports from PPM visits
  • Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date
  • Carry out small repairs & remedial works
  • Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment
  • Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure
  • Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions
  • Be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis

Requirements

  • Located within comfortable travelling distance of Aberdeen
  • Familiar with Trend & IQ Vision
  • Experience with Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure or ALC (advantageous)
  • Experience working within the building controls industry
  • Understanding of mechanical plant
  • Experience working within data centre environments (looked on favourably)
  • Proven diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS skill card or equivalent
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

Nice to have

  • Experience with Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure or ALC
  • Experience working within data centre environments
