Our client, one of the UK's largest independently employee-owned BMS companies, are looking for an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer to join its vibrant team in Aberdeen, Scotland The ideal candidate should be located within comfortable travelling distance of Aberdeen and be familiar with Trend & IQ Vision. However, any of the following systems would also be advantageous; Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure or ALC You must have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as have an understanding of mechanical plant. Any experience of working within data centre environments would be looked on favourably. You will also have proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems whilst also having • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients. • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • A full UK driving licence. • A CSCS skill card or equivalent. You will also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis. What You’ll Do • Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers. • Produce concise reports from PPM visits to be submitted promptly in line with KPI’s from our customers. • Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date for visibility of both BMSI and our customers. • Carry out small repairs & remedial works. • Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure. • Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
