learnd is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Service Sales Manager to join our growing Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in Building Management Systems (BMS), energy solutions, or technical services sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing existing customer relationships across Scotland, while also supporting UK-wide multi-site clients.
Job Responsibility
Drive sales growth across Scotland through the promotion of learnd's BMS service, ROC, and energy management solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand service offerings
Generate and secure new business opportunities across target markets
Prepare tailored proposals and quotations that meet customer requirements and deliver value
Negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to secure profitable business opportunities
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer records using the company CRM system
Plan and prioritise sales activities to maximise productivity and conversion rates
Work closely with operational teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
Deliver professional presentations and demonstrations of learnd's service and energy solutions
Represent the business professionally and act as a trusted advisor to customers
Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organisational standards
Be prepared to travel and work flexibly when required to support customer needs and business objectives.
Requirements
Proven track record in B2B technical or service sales
Experience selling Building Management Systems (BMS) service contracts, maintenance solutions, or energy management services
Strong knowledge of industry-standard BMS platforms such as Trend, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or equivalent systems
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience managing customer relationships and developing strategic accounts
Ability to build credibility with end users, facilities managers, and senior decision-makers
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to maintain profitability while delivering customer value
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management
Full UK driving licence.
