We're looking for experienced BMS Commissioning Engineers to join a major data centre programme in the Netherlands. This opportunity involves supporting multiple large-scale mission-critical projects focused on building automation, HVAC, lighting, and integrated control systems.
Job Responsibility:
Lead commissioning and integration of BMS workstations to ensure building automation, HVAC, lighting, security, and associated systems operate safely and efficiently
Collaborate with project teams, vendors, contractors, and operations personnel to prepare, test, validate, and hand over systems in accordance with project specifications and company standards
Develop commissioning plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), functional test procedures, performance tests, and commissioning documentation
Monitor system performance through BMS platforms, diagnose alarms and faults, and optimize control parameters to improve efficiency and reliability
Oversee setup, calibration, and configuration of controllers, field devices, and operator interfaces (HMI)
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational regulations during commissioning and handover phases
Provide post-commissioning support, training, and technical guidance to maintenance and operations teams
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience working as a BMS / BAS Commissioning Engineer
Experience with BMS platforms and workstations (Tridium Niagara experience advantageous)
Strong knowledge of HVAC, AHU systems, and mechanical services
Experience with system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and control logic optimization
Familiar with calibration, set-point management, and performance testing
Strong documentation and report-writing skills
Ability to coordinate across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines
Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance requirements
