As an BMS Engineer, you are responsible for bridging the gap between business, facilities, and security requirements and technical BMS solutions (such as HVAC and Energy Management). You will act as the technical guardian of these systems, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly and securely into the corporate network.
Job Responsibility:
Translate business, facilities, and security requirements into technical BMS solutions
Onboard and integrate new BMS installations into the client’s network and operational landscape
Perform technical risk assessments and vulnerability remediations for BMS devices, networks, and applications
Monitor, maintain, test, and validate existing BMS solutions to ensure performance and reliability
Collaborate with external suppliers, integrators, building managers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate implementation and lifecycle management
Analyse and resolve incidents, bugs, and system malfunctions by collaborating with vendors and internal parties on fixes
Ensure proper documentation, including architectural diagrams, operational procedures, and security assessments
Work within a DevOps environment, continuously improving services and automating processes wherever possible
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field
Proven experience with Building Management Systems and their integration
Strong computer networking knowledge and experience
Experience working in an Agile DevOps environment using Scrum principles
Knowledge of Azure CICD and the ability to automate end-to-end operational activities (certificate lifecycle, patching, etc.)
Knowledge of ITIL and experience using standard IT guidelines and best practices
