Job Description:

The BMS Engineer will operate, monitor, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal building performance. Analyse system trends to identify inefficiencies, faults, or potential improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with HVAC, lighting, and other building automation systems. Commission new systems and upgrades as required. Generate reports and provide recommendations based on trend analysis. Liaise with contractors, facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure system performance and compliance with standards. Maintain documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and updates. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all BMS operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a BMS Engineer or similar role in building management or facilities engineering
  • Strong experience in using BMS Trends for analysis, reporting, and fault detection
  • Knowledge of common BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric)
  • Experience with HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement corrective actions
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Relevant technical qualifications in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
