My client, who is the UK’s largest and leading independent systems integrator of Building Energy Management Systems is looking for an experienced BMS Design Engineer to join its Major Projects division in Central London, You'll be working on some of the UK’s most prestigious and technically demanding building management system (BMS) installations in large-scale commercial developments that offer complexity, variety, and genuine opportunities for professional development. To be considered for he BMS Design Engineer role, you must Possess demonstrable experience as a BMS Design Engineer, ideally with some knowledge around metering and third-party interfacing Have familiarity with the Trend or Schneider StruxureWare systems preferably and / or Siemens, Tridium or Distech Have experience with understanding air, hydraulic and electrical systems Be proficient in reading electrical and control wiring diagrams Have the ability to maintain records, trackers and reports Be flexible to travel to sites across Central London and nearby areas, when required You will be tasked to manage the entire design process of each project to ensure that it links with the overall strategy of how the project is to be delivered, but will also Produce point schedules, equipment schedules, Network topologies and Description of Operations Take responsibility for all equipment procurement Ensure full engagement with the respective Project Manager(s) and understand the time frame to deliver each design task / element to meet the project programme Work to tight deadlines and budgets, maintaining high standards throughout Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and MEP drawings confidently and accurately Provide technical support and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach My client offers a supportive, team-oriented environment where knowledge is shared, success is celebrated, and long-term careers are built. Job Responsibility

  • Manage the entire design process of each project to ensure that it links with the overall strategy of how the project is to be delivered
  • Produce point schedules, equipment schedules, Network topologies and Description of Operations
  • Take responsibility for all equipment procurement
  • Ensure full engagement with the respective Project Manager(s) and understand the time frame to deliver each design task / element to meet the project programme
  • Work to tight deadlines and budgets, maintaining high standards throughout
  • Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and MEP drawings confidently and accurately
  • Provide technical support and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach

Requirements
