Requirements

Experience of HVAC applications/cooling/heating systems – ideally in a BMS commissioning role
Additional experience of carrying out electrical modifications to HVAC systems
Further experience of programmable controllers is desirable
Awareness of BMS/DCIM and common communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP)
Knowledge of IT systems, servers and communication networks
Able to understand and modify control strategies

Job Responsibility

Commissioning controls projects and system integration (BMS/Energy Monitoring/HVAC controls/upgrade works)

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent technical qualification) in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience within data centres, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, HVAC, mechanical plant, BMS, and control systems
Hands-on experience with testing procedures, load bank testing, integrated systems testing (IST)
Familiarity with international commissioning standards and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics
Willingness to work on-site and adapt to project schedules
A valid Visa/Work permit for the specific job location is essential for this role

Job Responsibility

Execute commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
Perform functional and integrated testing to ensure systems operate as per design and project requirements
Support the development and execution of commissioning procedures and documentation
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and work closely with design and construction teams to resolve them
Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client specifications
Prepare accurate commissioning reports and handover documentation for client acceptance
Collaborate with contractors, commissioning managers, and client representatives to ensure project milestones are met

Requirements

Electrical engineering background – degree or HNC/HND preferred
Experience commissioning electrical control panels, ideally in data centres or similar critical environments
Knowledge of changeover systems, switchgear, and generator control logic
Comfortable reading schematics and working with PLC or BMS teams
Strong communicator who can coordinate with clients and vendors on site
Happy to travel across the UK and EU when needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field (Level 8 or higher), with advanced degree/certification in commissioning, energy management, or project management preferred
5+ years of experience in data centre infrastructure or mission-critical facilities, with a focus on commissioning, MEP engineering, or construction management
Certification or training in NETA, ASHRAE, or commissioning-specific education courses
Strong mechanical knowledge of Chilled Water, HVAC, BMS Systems, power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and backup generators, PSL
Expertise in Level 4 Scriptwriting and proficiency in commissioning software tools, data analysis, and reporting systems
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive stakeholder relationships and leadership experience in a mission-critical environment is preferred
Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives

Job Responsibility

Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of systems, including power, HVAC, BMS, and EPMS
Manage system testing, balancing, and maintenance for safe operation
Develop scripts, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with standards
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage docs, and ensure compliance
Implement commissioning plans, provide feedback, and align activities with project goals
Review project specs, design drawings, and docs to identify commissioning needs and ensure compliance with standards

Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation and operation of systems
Develop reports, procedures, and docs to record findings and recommendations
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, collaborating with teams on corrective actions
