Are you an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer looking for a new challenge? My client, the UK's largest independent, employee-owned BMS company is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer that has the flexibility to travel to sites across Cardiff & South-West. Working on some of the UK's most prestigious and technically demanding building management system (BMS) installations, you will have some knowledge around metering and third-party interfacing and should also have • Familiarity with the Trend or Schneider StruxureWare systems, experience with Siemens, Tridium or Distech would also be advantageous. • Demonstrable experience with understanding air, hydraulic and electrical systems • A positive and proactive approach to Health & Safety • Proficiency in reading electrical/control wiring diagrams and software. • Good ability to maintain Commissioning records, trackers, and reports. • Strong team-working and communication skills • Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first attitude You will be tasked with commissioning and completing BMS installations across high-value, complex projects and you will also be tasked with • Working to tight deadlines and budgets, maintaining high standards throughout • Interpreting electrical drawings, control schematics, and MEP drawings confidently and accurately • Collaborating with Project Managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery • Making adjustments to pre-configured software and graphics • Providing technical support and maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach BMS Commissioning Engineers operate at the cutting edge of BMS delivery working on commercial developments that offer complexity, variety, and genuine opportunities for professional development and the successful candidate will be able to access the following benefits: • A highly competitive salary and a generous bonus scheme. • Overtime available. • A wide-ranging company car scheme (that includes fully electric vehicles) or the option of driving your own car and being paid a monthly car allowance. • The client is an employee-owned company, which you would become part of after 12 months service. • A contributory pension scheme (the Company contributes 6% of your basic salary). • Free private medical insurance with BUPA. • Life assurance of 4 x annual salary. • 25 days holidays, plus public holidays, with the opportunity to buy an additional 3 days per annum. • Cyclescheme up to £2500, designed to encourage the workforce to keep themselves fit!
