This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation. We’re looking for a BME Community Outreach Practitioner for our Brent – New beginnings Service. Job Responsibility:

  • Work with individuals, communities, and organisations to reduce the harm associated with substance use amongst the BME community
  • Better understand the issues that people face
  • Identify and address barriers in accessing substance misuse services
  • Raise awareness of related harm
  • Promote community and user involvement in this process
  • Work with partners to improve access to support services, including treatment and recovery for those whose lives have been adversely affected
  • Help people rebuild their lives, reconnect with their family and friends, return to work or education
