Blood Bank Technologist II

• Effectively manages resources such as productivity, supplies, instruments and equipment
• Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner
• Reports test results in a timely manner according to established laboratory protocols
• Performs accurate and appropriate testing of specimens received in the laboratory, according to established laboratory protocol and procedures
• Follows established procedures for laboratory quality control, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures
• Serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed

• Bachelors (Required)
• Clinical Lab Supervisor License (SU LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Clinical Lab Technologist License (TN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Minimum of three (3) years' work experience required as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Associate's degree with five (5) years or more of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Florida State License as a Technologist (TN License) or Supervisor (SU License) in the area of responsibility

2-3 years experience working in a Hospital Transfusion Services (Blood Bank) or a Blood Center
