Job Description:

As a Blade Technician you are going to be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing wind turbine blades.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform visual and physical inspections of wind turbine blades
  • Conduct composite repairs on blades, including sanding, filling, and fiberglass work
  • Use platform systems to access blades at height
  • Collaborate with site teams and engineers to report issues and recommend solutions
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Travel to various wind farm sites as required
  • Reporting on service activities

Requirements:

  • Previous technical experience
  • Prior blade repair experience is valued
  • Communicative knowledge of English
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally
  • Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights up to 150 m
  • Safety awareness
  • Open and friendly attitude towards teammates and others
