Join our dedicated Biochemistry team in Derby and contribute to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing a wide range of routine and specialised biochemistry tests using automated and manual techniques
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining biochemistry analysers
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control procedures and laboratory protocols
  • Validating, interpreting, and reporting accurate biochemical test results
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
  • Maintaining meticulous records and upholding UKAS and ISO standards
  • Participating in audits and supporting ongoing service improvements

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • Relevant NHS experience in a Biochemistry laboratory
  • Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and SOPs
  • Full-time availability (we cannot provide sponsorship)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
