Job Description:

The Biological Sciences department is seeking undergraduate students to serve as tutors in the department's Peer Mentoring Center.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing in-person one-on-one or group settings
  • Some evenings may be required

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled at EKU for the spring 2026 semester
  • Must have a 3.5 GPA and a BIO major
  • Undergraduate Biological Sciences student, or related major, at junior or senior standing, or exceptional sophomore minimum 3.5 GPA
  • A grade of a least a B or higher in some upper-level BIO coursework (e.g. BIO 307/308, BIO 315, BIO 320, etc.)

Nice to have:

Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required
