Good communication and organizational skills
Minimum of 3 years field experience as a plumber and recent entry into office environment to pursue a BIM/VDC career
Some knowledge of software tools including, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other related 3D detailing software tools
Ability to interface with construction industry professionals with professionalism and credibility
Ability to pass a pre employment drug test

Job Responsibility

Develop detailed drawings in accordance with plumbing piping standards
Work in conformity with company Plumbing CAD Standards and detailing practices
Use Revit, Navisworks or other modeling software to produce accurate production level drawing
Establish drawings and document format required to complete job
Understand and comply with job specific scope and requirements
Verify that all drawings are complete to a constructible state
Consistently review shop drawings to ensure quality and accuracy prior to distribution to the field
Communicate effectively with BIM/VDC Manager and Plumbing Field Team
Communicate any outstanding job or departmental issues with BIM/VDC Manager
