Job Description:

As a BIM Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting project teams by coordinating, managing and delivering BIM models in line with project and Aurecon standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating BIM models across disciplines, with a focus on MEP services
  • Performing clash detection using Navisworks and leading coordination and resolution reviews
  • Facilitating and attending BIM and coordination meetings with consultants, clients and internal project teams
  • Ensuring models and outputs comply with project BIM standards, workflows and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  • Working closely with design engineers, site teams and stakeholders to resolve design and constructability issues
  • Designing and modelling Mechanical or Electrical services using Revit
  • Producing accurate and coordinated drawings and BIM outputs for MEP services using Revit
  • Supporting continuous improvement of BIM processes and best practices across projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
  • Minimum 2 years of design experience in Mechanical Engineering with a strong BIM focus
  • Hands-on experience using Revit for MEP modelling and documentation
  • Working knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud and Navisworks for coordination and clash detection
  • Experience delivering building projects (e.g. commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, or similar)
  • Good understanding of BIM standards, workflows and coordination processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
