Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and issue progress and final invoices based on the progress of the work
  • Verify that invoices comply with contracts, purchase orders, and bids
  • Work with project managers to validate progress reports
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payments received
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with customers
  • Keep project files up to date (addenda, change orders, etc.)
  • Prepare billing reports and profitability analyses by project
  • Participate in month-end closings and year-end audits
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of billing processes

Requirements:

  • AEC/DEC in Accounting or other relative experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar role
  • Experience working with Yardi or other ERP Systems (an Asset)
  • Bilingual (an asset)
