Under the supervision of the Billing Supervisor, this position is responsible for billing clients for specialty logistics services related to complex commodity shipments, including packaging requirements, customer-specific tariffs, and accurate cost capture. The role owns pricing, invoice generation, and invoice delivery for clients across an assigned portfolio of countries.
Job Responsibility:
Own pricing, invoice generation, and invoice delivery tasks for all clients within the assigned country portfolio
Analyze billing inputs vs. outputs using BI tools to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Work with the Sales department to maintain and update customer-specific tariffs and billing requirements
Gather and maintain all documentation required to update customer files, including special rates, routings, packaging requirements, and discounts
Interact frequently with internal colleagues at various levels (Sales, Operations, Finance, Customer Service) to ensure all related costs are accurately captured for billing
Prepare billing adjustments, including voids and credit memos, when required
Communicate regularly with global offices to align on customer billing needs and process requirements
Ensure customer files are organized, complete, and up-to-date in accordance with internal procedures
Perform related duties and support special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Computer Sciences, or similar fields
1–3 years of experience in an international business environment in areas such as business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, customer support, or related functions
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or a similar industry is a strong advantage
Direct experience in Pricing, Billing, or Accounting is highly advantageous
Experience working with customer contracts, pricing structures, rate cards, or billing systems preferred
SAP or other recognized ERP experience preferred
Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is an advantage
English proficiency (written and oral)
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
Ability to work independently—self-starter, proactive, and energetic
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with global geography, trade lanes, and airport codes
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
SAP experience preferred
BI tool knowledge an advantage
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally as they arise
