Billing Specialist

• Prepare and distribute monthly invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Address client inquiries regarding billing issues and provide resolution with exceptional customer service
• Manually process and reformat billing data using tools such as Access and Excel to ensure usability and accuracy
• Apply customer payments in the accounting system and maintain accurate records of transactions
• Manage third-party vendor payments and calculate amounts manually based on invoice data
• Track billing activities using Excel and maintain detailed records for reporting purposes
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing processes and ensure efficiency
• Handle vendor payments and ensure compliance with established procedures
• Perform data cleansing tasks to maintain accurate invoice information for all clients
• Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals

• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in NetSuite and familiarity with medical billing systems is highly preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, analysis, and reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Detail-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in billing operations

Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
