Job Description

A healthcare services organization in San Diego is seeking a Billing & Payroll Coordinator to support payroll processing, billing administration, and financial coordination activities. This role combines payroll support with billing and administrative responsibilities in a collaborative office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling both payroll and financial administrative functions with accuracy and professionalism.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
  • Review timekeeping records and payroll adjustments for accuracy
  • Prepare customer invoices and maintain billing documentation
  • Track outstanding balances and assist with payment follow-up
  • Maintain accurate payroll and billing records across systems
  • Support reconciliations and financial reporting activities
  • Respond to payroll and billing inquiries professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information
  • Assist accounting and HR teams with operational support tasks

Requirements

  • 2+ years of payroll, billing, or accounting support experience preferred
  • Healthcare, staffing, or service industry experience is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience with payroll and accounting software preferred
  • Microsoft Excel and data entry proficiency required
