We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing/Invoicing Specialist to support a surge in donation and state funding revenue following recent government events.
Job Responsibility:
Review spreadsheets, invoices, and supporting documentation
Manage financial trackers
Update systems with payment information
Prepare packages for state reimbursement
Communicate regularly with the finance team
Report results to managers and executives
Ensure accurate billing records
Support audits and donor reviews
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or invoicing roles
Proficiency in Excel with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets
Familiarity with Dynamics or willingness to learn
Demonstrated experience with state billing processes is highly desirable
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of systems such as Aderant or Costpoint is an advantage
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders
