Job Description:

The Billing Insights Specialist provides insights on key billing systems and processes to the Billing Impacts and Billing Operations area, in order to drive efficiencies and performance. This role will use their billing subject matter expertise and bring thought leadership and specialized information to help drive our Billing & Analytics strategy into the future. They will engage with key business Stakeholders in Consumer, Enterprise and Customer Care providing specialized Billing inputs. The successful candidate will manage Billing Data sources for the Vodafone Ireland Billing & Payments team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and centralise Billing data insights for Billing Team across multiple systems
  • Deliver regular reporting on our key Billing processes with a view to bringing an understanding to those processes through trending
  • Provide support and insights to all key areas of Billing Team, Billing Operations, Billing Impacts and Payments team
  • Have a clear understanding of our customer base, in particular the systems they are using in their billing journey from invoicing to analytics
  • Bring current Billing best practices to the Billing team to feed strategy
  • Deliver accurate and timely impact analysis for new initiatives and system changes
  • Provide insight and support for Customer escalations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of billing processes
  • Bring key information to Billing Management in order to drive future outcomes with focus on Billing Best Practice, Controls and Customer insight support
  • For projects originating from Billing Team, and external initiatives with a key Billing & Payments focus, lend support to these projects and in some instances, lead where required
  • Work collaboratively with our key 3rd party vendors to help deliver our goals

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years operational Telco billing experience
  • Technical expertise with complex data sets including experience with AI
  • Billing analytics subject matter expertise
