We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Follow Up Associate for a contract position in Roseville, California. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursement by effectively communicating with patients, government agencies, and third-party payers. Job Responsibility

  • Communicate with patients, government agencies, and third-party payers to gather and process information for accurate reimbursement
  • review unpaid claims and initiate actions to resolve reimbursements, including appeals and follow-ups
  • submit and correct claims to payers, ensuring compliance with billing procedures
  • investigate past due and denied claims, taking appropriate steps for collection and resolution
  • calculate write-offs and process debit/credit adjustments as needed
  • maintain productivity by meeting or exceeding performance expectations in claim management
  • provide general office support, including record-keeping and documentation
  • collaborate with internal departments for charge information and coding updates
  • ensure all billing activities align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • an associate degree or equivalent experience is advantageous
