Job Description

We are looking for a Zuora Billing & CPQ System Admin to take ownership of our subscription billing and quoting systems. This role focuses on maintaining, debugging, and enhancing our Salesforce–Zuora ecosystem to ensure reliable subscription management, accurate billing, compliant order forms, and seamless system integrations. You will work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and IT as a key technico-functional partner, combining strong configuration expertise with the ability to optimize and scale billing and quoting processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce CPQ / Quotes (CPQX) configurations and customizations
  • Develop, debug, and support Apex classes, Visualforce pages, SOQL queries, Flows, validation rules, and approval processes
  • Manage complex custom fields, dependencies, filters, and pricing logic
  • Maintain plugins and custom logic (e.g., billing entity selection at quote creation)
  • Ensure order forms accurately reflect quote and billing information
  • Develop and troubleshoot SOQL-based data extraction, conditional logic for pricing, billing, and contractual data, page layouts and formatting
  • Improve discount validation and quote approval workflows
  • Maintain Salesforce → Zuora integration and troubleshoot sync issues
  • Investigate and resolve data consistency and integration issues in collaboration with Data Integration teams
  • Maintain and support Zuora Billing configuration: product catalog, rate plans, and charge models, subscription lifecycle (new subscriptions, amendments, renewals)
  • Support subscription management and billing operations
  • Troubleshoot billing issues in collaboration with Finance teams
  • Ensure alignment between Salesforce quoting and Zuora billing behavior
  • Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, workflows, and billing processes
  • Act as a technical partner to Finance and Revenue Operations
  • Perform root-cause analysis on production issues
  • Support system improvements and change management initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience with quote customization, pricing and discount logic
  • Approval workflows, custom quote objects, and plugins
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Flows, and approval processes
  • Experience with subscription billing platforms (e.g., Zuora, Recurly, Stripe Billing)
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based business models
  • Experience supporting Salesforce–Zuora integrations
  • Ability to troubleshoot billing and subscription issues

Nice to have

  • Experience with finance or revenue systems (ERP, invoicing, revenue recognition)
  • Salesforce and/or Zuora certifications
