Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the insurance industry. In this role, you will focus on premium reconciliation, policy financial monitoring, and building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage multiple policies and accounts, ensuring accurate premium accounting and billing
  • Conduct audits on premium payments to identify discrepancies and provide corrective actions
  • Monitor and communicate policy financial status to both internal teams and external partners
  • Address past-due accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and manage payment collections
  • Serve as a liaison between client services, underwriting, and other departments to resolve premium or billing challenges
  • Partner with client finance teams to address remittance issues and resolve past-due invoices
  • Reconcile unapplied premiums and suspense accounts for assigned policies
  • Provide ongoing billing and premium support, including transitioning members to direct billing when necessary
  • Assist with account reviews, audits, and action plans to address client concerns and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
  • Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact across departments and with external clients
  • Experience in operations, billing, and payment processing within the insurance or related industries
  • Familiarity with financial reconciliation and auditing practices
  • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using tools and systems for monitoring and managing financial data
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and premium management processes is highly desirable
