We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to support invoicing and reporting activities for an open-ended Contract position based in Bryan, Texas. This role is well suited for someone who can work confidently in a fast-moving environment, review financial and operational information with precision, and communicate effectively with multiple internal teams. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate billing records, resolve discrepancies through research, and contribute to dependable reporting processes.
Job Responsibility:
Generate and process routine invoices, billing updates, and account corrections by reviewing shipping records and related backup documentation
Examine billing information for completeness and accuracy, ensuring each transaction aligns with company standards and established procedures
Research variances and payment or billing issues across available systems, then coordinate with internal partners to bring items to resolution
Compile and share recurring reporting packages for utility sites and other business groups within required timelines
Partner with operations, customer service, shipping, and plant teams to confirm billing details and maintain consistency across records
Use tools such as Oracle, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel to manage daily workflow, communication, and billing data
Maintain organized files and supporting records to strengthen audit readiness and support future reference needs
Recognize process gaps or inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements that enhance accuracy and turnaround time
Requirements:
Experience supporting billing, invoicing, collections, statements, or other computerized billing processes
Working knowledge of basic accounting concepts and comfort performing calculations with accuracy
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume work without losing precision
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues independently and prioritize competing tasks
Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
Solid organizational and time-management abilities in a deadline-driven setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Experience with enterprise billing or ERP platforms, with Oracle preferred, along with familiarity using Outlook and Microsoft Teams
