Job Description:

Billing Coordinator role in healthcare industry bringing accuracy, empathy, and efficiency to patient billing operations with focus on clear communication and timely billing

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and submit patient billing statements and insurance claims
Verify insurance coverage and ensure proper coding of services
Follow up on unpaid claims and patient balances
Maintain billing records and assist with reporting and audits
Communicate with patients and insurance providers to resolve billing inquiries

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare finance
Strong understanding of insurance processes and billing codes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
