Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Billing/Collections Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will oversee billing and collections processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions. This position requires strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and issue accurate invoices using both automated systems and manual methods
Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and outstanding balances
Initiate collection efforts for delinquent accounts while maintaining clear and precise communication
Investigate and resolve billing disputes and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
Collaborate with clients to address billing inquiries and deliver exceptional service
Process payments and perform regular account reconciliation for accounts receivable
Coordinate with internal departments to gather information necessary for accurate billing
Develop and implement efficient billing and collection procedures to enhance workflow
Organize and manage the team mailbox by filing, categorizing, and addressing requests promptly

Requirements:

Proven experience in billing and collections processes
Strong proficiency in managing billing systems and resolving errors
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders
Familiarity with collections management and consumer collections
Solid organizational and communication abilities
Knowledge of payment processing and account reconciliation
Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve financial disputes effectively
