Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a temp to hire position offering the opportunity to contribute to efficient billing processes and ensure accuracy in statements and collections. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail and a strong understanding of billing systems.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and issue accurate billing statements in a timely manner
Manage billing collections and ensure payments are recorded appropriately
Maintain and update computerized billing systems to reflect current data
Address and resolve customer inquiries related to billing discrepancies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing operations
Analyze billing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Follow established procedures for handling sensitive financial information
Generate reports summarizing billing activities and collections
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards within the billing process

Requirements:

Proven experience in billing functions and processes
Strong knowledge of billing collection practices
Familiarity with preparing and managing billing statements
Proficiency in computerized billing systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze billing data and identify discrepancies
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Understanding of regulatory compliance related to billing operations
