Billing Clerk

• Enter, post, and reconcile financial batches with precision and efficiency
• Investigate and resolve customer accounts receivable issues to ensure accurate billing
• Prepare and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding balances
• Conduct billing and collection calls to address payment discrepancies
• Maintain and update the cash receipts journal to reflect all transactions
• Reconcile sub-ledgers with the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage billing and accounts receivable
• Collaborate with team members to streamline billing operations and improve processes
• Provide exceptional customer service when responding to inbound calls related to billing inquiries.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ADP and Epic Software
• Experience with computerized billing and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Ability to analyze financial data and produce accurate reports
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong communication skills for handling billing inquiries and resolving issues
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools like About Time software is a plus.
