Job Description:

We are looking for a Billing Clerk to join a high-volume team supporting project-based invoicing operations in Pleasant Grove, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented billing work, can manage repetitive tasks with accuracy, and is comfortable working in a casual office environment with direct communication. The role will focus on invoice entry, billing support, record maintenance, and coordination with internal teams to help keep project timelines on track.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process a large volume of billing data and prepare invoices with a high level of accuracy
  • Enter invoice details into the company’s billing and accounting system while verifying completeness and correctness
  • Use Excel templates, spreadsheets, and pivot tables to organize billing information and support timely invoicing
  • Assist with invoicing activities connected to ongoing construction projects and related schedules
  • Maintain orderly billing files and ensure supporting documentation is complete and accessible
  • Communicate with internal departments to gather missing information and resolve discrepancies that could delay billing
  • Monitor billing records regularly to keep account details current and aligned with project activity

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or accounting support is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with repetitive, detail-driven tasks
  • Proficiency with Excel, including the use of templates, formulas, and pivot tables
  • Comfort using billing or accounting systems, including legacy platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data entry and documentation
  • Exposure to construction, industrial, or project-based business environments is an advantage
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
