We are looking for a dependable Billing Clerk to join an office in Boca Raton, Florida on a Contract basis. This in-office role is ideal for someone who can support billing activities, assist with payment arrangements, and adapt to a variety of administrative needs as workload increases. Job Responsibility:
Prepare and process customer billing records accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate with customers regarding account balances and help establish appropriate payment arrangements
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on customer accounts to support collection efforts
Maintain organized billing documentation and update account information as needed
Assist with a range of office tasks in support of daily operations within a small team environment
Learn and use company-specific billing systems and procedures through on-the-job training
Work onsite Monday through Friday while managing priorities as business activity increases
Requirements:
Previous experience in billing, collections, or account support is required
Familiarity with consumer collections and payment processing practices
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle financial information accurately
Dependable work habits and the ability to contribute in a small office setting
Willingness to work fully onsite in Boca Raton, Florida
Ability to pass required background screening
Detail-oriented communication skills and a flexible approach to changing business needs
