Billing Clerk

• Process project-based billing, including time-and-materials invoicing, to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Verify revenue recognition by reviewing and validating billing entries and invoices
• Set up and maintain customer accounts, including activating and regularly updating account information
• Assist with data cleanup and system accuracy during platform transitions
• Support billing workflows and sales order processes within a new system
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to optimizing billing procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth billing operations and address discrepancies
• Monitor billing systems for accuracy and resolve any issues promptly
• Maintain thorough documentation of billing activities and procedures
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to address billing-related inquiries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Demonstrated experience in billing, accounting, or revenue operations beyond basic data entry
• Ability to adapt to evolving systems and processes with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
• Self-motivated and capable of managing responsibilities independently
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Experience with computerized billing systems and workflows
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address billing discrepancies effectively

Familiarity with Great Plains is a plus
