Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, MN. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in accounting who are eager to contribute to a dynamic environment. The Billing Clerk will play a crucial role in managing invoicing procedures, updating customer records, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.

Job Responsibility:

Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner
Prepare and issue monthly account statements to clients
Maintain and update customer files with newly issued invoices and payment details
Process credit memos and ensure proper documentation
Input invoices into customer invoicing platforms and maintain records
Collaborate with team members to address billing discrepancies and resolve issues
Monitor and verify billing data for accuracy and compliance
Support high-volume invoicing tasks with efficiency and attention to detail
Adapt quickly to new systems and tools required for billing processes

Requirements:

At least one year of accounting experience, preferably in billing functions
Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with active listening abilities
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all billing activities
Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Capacity to learn and adapt to new systems and processes with ease
Familiarity with high-volume invoicing and billing procedures
Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
