We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate processing. Job Responsibility:

Enter relevant entries into the system
Communicate effectively with managers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
Apply basic accounting principles, including understanding debits and credits, to daily tasks
Adapt quickly to new processes and systems while maintaining accuracy
Maintain composure under pressure and handle challenges with professionalism

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or a related financial role
Familiarity with billing functions, collection processes, and billing systems
Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
Strong problem-solving skills and financial common sense
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures
Excellent communication skills for interacting with managers and external partners
Resilience in handling feedback and maintaining focus in high-pressure situations
