The Billing Clerk compiles data, computes fees and charges, and prepares invoices for billing purposes. Duties include reviewing invoices, computing costs and calculating rates for services, tracking products, posting data, and keeping other relevant records.
Job Responsibility:
Review paperwork and creates invoices necessary to bill customers
Research and resolve client billing problems or issues
Ensure all miscellaneous sales have been invoiced
Post all sales orders and confirm paperwork has been sent
Retrieves individual orders and makes certain that all paperwork necessary to bill is present
Monitors overall paperwork to ensure the invoice is the most accurate possible with the information given
Report on activity to upper management
Provide excellent customer service skills
Must be able to multi-task and stay organized
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years or more of related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products
