Job Description:

This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to billing operations while learning and growing during a non-busy season.

Job Responsibility:

Process weekly billing efficiently and accurately, adhering to contract-specific guidelines
Handle month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliation
Review aging reports to ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices
Manage billing for multiple accounts, scaling operations during busy periods
Generate credit memos and address discrepancies in a timely manner
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth billing operations and adherence to accounting principles
Adapt to changes in workloads and priorities during peak seasons
Assist with training and onboarding as needed to support team transitions

Requirements:

Proficiency in accounting software systems and computerized billing tools
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Familiarity with financial services software, including ADP and Epic
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills for handling inbound calls and collaborating with team members
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with credit memo generation and account reconciliation
