We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the service industry. The ideal candidate will handle billing tasks and assist with soft collections while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and process accurate invoices for clients in a timely manner
Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies related to billing or payments
Maintain organized records of all invoices and payment transactions
Assist with soft collections by following up on outstanding payments
Analyze billing data to identify trends or issues and implement solutions
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all billing activities
Provide support and respond to inquiries regarding billing matters
Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and track billing-related information efficiently
Adapt to flexible working hours after completing initial training
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or a related role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Experience in soft collections or payment follow-ups is preferred
Familiarity with billing procedures and best practices
Willingness to work flexible hours after training is completed
