We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in White Plains, New York. In this Contract to permanent employment role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. This position requires in-office presence and offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization. This role is a contract to potential hire scenario and is fully onsite 5 days a week.
Job Responsibility:
Process incoming invoices promptly, ensuring accurate coding for seamless entry
Reconcile invoices and input them into the billing system with precision
Adhere to established workflows and obtain supervisory approvals as required
Identify and address billing-related issues proactively, following up to ensure resolution
Respond to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding payment statuses
Maintain organized records of procedures, deadlines, and essential communications
Escalate complex billing or payment concerns to senior management when necessary
Participate in departmental and company-wide initiatives to enhance processes
Handle data entry and filing tasks efficiently and accurately
Manage time effectively to independently complete assigned projects
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent technical education is required
A minimum of three years’ recent experience in administrative, financial, or operational roles
Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Familiarity with billing processes and commercial real estate operations is highly desirable
Proven experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records
