The Billing Clerk compiles data, computes fees and charges, and prepares invoices for billing purposes. Duties include computing costs and calculating rates for tires, services, and tracking of products; posting data, and keeping other relevant records.
Job Responsibility:
Researches and resolves customer issues.
Creates and processes adjustments.
Processes customer refund requests.
Research, resolve and manage customer credit balance reports.
Revenue reporting and month-end system close processing.
Manage the buying of casings and wheels.
Receive casings and wheels when inventory is bought in Madden Co.
Bill Penske Scrap out.
Create Delivery Receipts (DR) in Madden Co. for Michelin and Hankook National Account.
Obtain purchase orders.
File Government Sales (GS) Claims.
Manage National Account Billing (NAB) Menu.
Reconcile credits received from Michelin and Hankook.
Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff.
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Maintains professional appearance.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
or one to three months related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One-year certificate from college or technical school
or three to six months of related experience and/or training
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
