Our client in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk for a contract position. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and gain valuable experience in the finance and accounting field.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, process, and review client invoices and billing statements
Verify billing data, correct discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records
Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Assist with accounts receivable processes and reconcile accounts as needed
Support month-end closing activities and other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in billing, accounting, or a similar administrative role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
experience with accounting software is a plus
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
