Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a results-driven Billing Analyst with a strong background in accounts receivable (AR), aging analysis, and billing operations to join our client’s dynamic team. As a Billing Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of the organization’s revenue cycle through efficient and detailed billing and reconciliation processes. In this role, the ideal candidate will oversee and maintain accurate aging reports, streamline billing operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment are key to success.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the AR process by accurately posting payments, reconciling accounts, and managing outstanding balances for improved cash flow
  • Regularly update and review accounts receivable aging reports to monitor delinquent accounts, reduce overdue balances, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of customer invoices, credit memos, and billing adjustments, in alignment with agreed-upon terms and contracts
  • Reconcile discrepancies between payments received and invoices by working closely with AR teams and customers to ensure proper account resolution
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices and provide efficient support to resolve any billing-related issues
  • Generate detailed monthly and quarterly reports summarizing AR trends, billing metrics, and collection efforts to support cash forecasting
  • Ensure all billing and AR functions comply with organizational policies, audit requirements, and financial regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of work experience in billing or accounts receivable roles
  • Strong knowledge of AR systems, aging report management, and ERP/accounting tools
