Job Description:

In a world that never stops moving, our travelers rely on more than just a booking engine—they rely on a master strategist who can navigate the complex skies in both English and French. As a Bilingual Air Agent, you aren't just processing tickets; you are the architect of seamless journeys. You serve as the critical link between complex global distribution systems and the traveler’s peace of mind. Our client, a global cornerstone of the Travel Support sector, is looking for a GDS expert who thrives on precision and possesses the linguistic agility to support a diverse, national clientele.

Job Responsibility:

  • Utilize preferred airline suppliers to build and present optimized air itineraries that balance cost, efficiency, and traveler needs
  • Masterfully navigate Amadeus queues to monitor ticket requirements, process exchanges, and handle full or partial refunds with surgical precision
  • Proactively manage schedule changes to ensure zero disruption to the traveler
  • Execute all ARC/BSP documentation and maintain rigorous up-to-date knowledge of airline contracts to ensure the best utilization of preferred supplier agreements
  • Collaborate with internal partners to explain travel restrictions, rules, and safety tips

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in the travel industry (Airline, Retail, or TMC)
  • Fluent in English and French to effectively manage daily communications with out-of-province clients and partners
  • Extensive knowledge of Amadeus GDS (Ticketing and Reissuing is a must)
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Teams
  • TICO certification is required (OPC certification is mandatory for Quebec-based candidates)
  • An independent, fast learner who can maintain high accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • A dedicated home office with a reliable wired internet connection
