Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller in our Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. You are part of the fabric of the local community, helping provide the financial service backbone for its residents, employees and local businesses. This role involves supporting customer engagement, processing transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making introductions to bankers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support customer engagement by processing teller transactions
  • Share digital solutions and make appropriate introductions to bankers
  • Complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies
  • Perform routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies
  • Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete transactions
  • Identify information and services to meet customers financial needs

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Must take and pass required language assessment

Nice to have:

  • 6+ months of experience interacting with people
  • Military experience and currently enrolled in college or university program
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share mobile banking value
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action
  • Well-organized, independent and able to prioritize in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise judgment and raise questions to management
  • Relevant military experience including personnel benefits management, processing military orders, or human resources
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining customer relationships
