We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Relief Fund Reviewer to join a respected nonprofit organization in Baltimore, Maryland. This position supports the administration of a utility assistance program aimed at providing financial relief to households in need. The role involves evaluating applications and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of funds to eligible recipients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and assess applications submitted through the organization's online system to determine eligibility based on established program criteria
  • Verify applicant information and documentation to ensure compliance with grant requirements and program guidelines
  • Calculate and allocate the appropriate level of financial assistance for approved applicants
  • Maintain accurate records of application reviews and decisions using relevant software tools
  • Monitor and adhere to implementation timelines to ensure efficient fund distribution
  • Collaborate with team members to address inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to applicants
  • Prepare and organize files and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel and Word, to manage data and generate reports

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in speaking Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients or applicants

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with file management and document scanning processes
  • Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
