Job Description

We are seeking a professional and compassionate Bilingual Spanish Patient Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience and strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for patients, helping ensure a positive and seamless experience from check-in through follow-up.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer inbound calls and schedule patient appointments
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
  • Complete patient registration and intake documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient records within EMR/EHR systems
  • Collect copays and process patient payments
  • Coordinate with providers, medical assistants, and office staff to support patient care
  • Respond to patient questions regarding appointments, referrals, and billing
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Provide exceptional bilingual support to Spanish-speaking patients

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Previous medical office or healthcare experience required
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
