We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Roxbury, Massachusetts. This role requires a customer-focused individual with strong organizational skills to assist residents and visitors while supporting the management team with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in affordable housing and be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, answering calls and assisting residents with applications in a courteous manner
Provide support to the Compliance Manager and Senior Property Manager in handling occupancy-related tasks
Collaborate with the intern for additional assistance during peak hours
Respond to inquiries regarding policies and procedures related to applications and re-certifications
Conduct background checks for tenant re-certifications and verify final eligibility
Review and execute lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Accurately complete and submit necessary forms for compliance reviews and tenant records
Gather, verify, and evaluate information for interim transfers, re-certifications, and move-ins
Assist tenants with understanding rent calculations and completing required materials
Maintain organized records and ensure timely communication with residents and management
Requirements:
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in affordable housing management
Proficiency in affordable housing income certification processes
Strong knowledge of tax credit regulations and compliance
Excellent customer service skills, including handling inquiries and resolving issues
Competency in data entry and managing email correspondence
Ability to schedule appointments and assist in leasing activities
Familiarity with real estate and occupancy processes
