As part of a dynamic recruitment team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the full life cycle recruitment process for roles in of personal and commercial banking group in Canada. If you are a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist with a successful track record in an agency and/or a corporate environment, then we want to hear from you. You will have a proven track record in delivering recruitment services and managing relationships with senior leaders. You will source, screen and assess talent in order to provide recommendations to managers on best fit. As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will develop a solid understanding of the assigned businesses and build strong relationships CWM Staff Augmentation - Intake Form with managers, HR Partners and other internal groups as appropriate. This is a great impact role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct a thorough intake conversation with the hiring manager detailing the position needs, scope, and clarifying joint roles and expectations
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities
  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment from sourcing, screening, assessing, interviewing, recommending candidates, offer negotiations, etc
  • Manage the recruitment process including documenting/tracking all pertinent information using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Build/maintain a pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing
  • Independently generate candidate flow at all levels through internal postings, proactive networking, career fairs, online job boards, local press, professional associations, social media, and initiating other channels as appropriate
  • Provide quality market intelligence to the business regarding the recruitment market, and build a pipeline/database of future talent based on market research and industry knowledge
  • Proactively seek out live market benchmark intelligence in relation to compensation
  • Play an active role in marketing/communication activities to enhance the employment brand

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ full life-cycle recruitment experience
  • Strong sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult-to-find skill sets in local and other markets
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value-added consultative service
  • Proven ability to provide support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management
  • Strong client service orientation
  • results-oriented, multi-tasking, and strong sense of urgency
  • Demonstrates impact and influence skills
  • Strong telephone and presentation skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with e-Recruitment tools (Applicant Tracking Systems, etc.) and knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing
  • Must be fluent in communicate with French/ English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
  • Requires Commercial banking services industry recruitment experience
