Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Bilingual Physical Collateral Examination Associate within Commercial Capital. This role is for a vacancy in our Ontario or Quebec location and fully remote. The role involves participating in audits of floor plan inventory at various dealerships, performing physical inspections of dealer inventories, and building relationships with customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in audits of floor plan inventory at various dealerships and companies
  • Perform physical inspections of dealer inventories and reconcile with business records through effective communications with account managers
  • Review approval requests and ensure completion of all operating and action measures within established timeframes
  • Inspect physical existence of collateral and verify the borrowers' records to determine adherence to approve loan structure
  • Receive direction from supervisor to ensure accurate responses on customer inquires and disputes
  • Reconcile discrepancies with the customer and document details to support the final financial review and inventory inspection results
  • Build relationships with customers through setting expectations, answering questions, providing support with payment systems and raising customer growth inquiries to our commercial and portfolio teams
  • Exercise judgment in determining the cause of discrepancies and disposing of any variances
  • Assess condition of collateral with prompt and accurate reporting to confirm the collateralized position
  • Communicate with manager, account manager and peers to resolve issues and escalate risks

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Collateral Examination experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Must be fully bilingual in French and English
  • Good customer service skills/experiences
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to anticipate and adapt to rapidly changing, growth-oriented environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Proficient knowledge of business practices and processes
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to obtain necessary documentation
  • Strong problem solving and mathematical skills
  • Good driving records

Nice to have:

With some auditing experiences (for example, inventory auditing in restaurant or retail industries)
